Why do you think we over spent on some players? Have a guess?

We have been mainly woeful in all competitions for the last 26 years so for us to get those players to win leagues and cups we have to:
A - Match Their Ambitions
B - Spend a lot more than we did on Iwobi
C - Spend a lot more on wages than we did on Iwobi
D - We have to do A B and C for 20 or so players.

The only recent teams to do ABC and D have been Chelsea, Liverpool and City.

In the simplest of terms, we don't have the cash they have spent because we haven't be competing at a level which allows to clubs to operate.

Our revenue VS City:

Everton - £64 million
City - £750 million.

We held our own for 84 mins against a team worth 11 TIMES more than us.

If you can't accept that the better team won and move on with trying to point a finger or drag a player out, Everton isn't for you.

Who assembled the squad? Who keeps loaning players instead of selling them for cash or releasing them from contracts? We shouldn’t be in a position where, for a big cup tie, we only have 3 first team players on the bench and having to dip into the academy sides for bodies because we don’t have squad depth despite spending hundreds of millions

Who is prepared to buy them ?
everyone says he cannot sell players but no one gives clubs who will buy them
Just the usual "Its not my job" stock answer
Who will pay money, actual hard cash for Besic ,Bolassie, Walcott, Tosun and match their wages

Really don't see how anyone can rate Brands. He has barely signed anyone of note off his own back - all of his good signings have been Silva or Carlo recommendations. He should leave at the end of the season.

WE did have an academy ban as well ,plus we cannot sign under 18s from abroad

Our squad as a whole is poor, our bench is not good enough. That lies with either Moshiri, Ancelotti or Brands.
Brands is paid very very very well, so he is not afforded the excuse of ‘no one wants to buy them’ that’s his job, if he can’t do his job he shouldn’t be here.

We did have a ban and I’m sure we’re seeing the effects now.

I have no idea what the impact of the U18 ban will be for us. I don’t think we have loads of foreign youngsters in our ranks. However, it will affect the likes of Arsenal, City and Chelsea etc. I suppose the impact will be even more competition for English youngsters and lower league clubs getting raided / squeezed even more.
