Every year I can never find out our pre-season fixtures-I cannot find them on the official website, I dont know whether i am looking in the wrong place or not

Hello to all Evertonians, couldn't find a better thread for my question:
Does Everton FC go to Austria / Salzburg for a trainingscamp this summer ?
I found this announced on a few Salzburg sites, but nowhere else.
My english is too bad to search on english sites with good success.
Thanks boys and all the best to EFC and all of you.

I found one from the ORF in May:
http://salzburg.orf.at/stories/515476
but it looks like it was from a press release from Salzburger Land Fußball Camps GmbH.

I don't think we have any time for anything for the first team - they are playing Bury on July 15 and then have a fairly full schedule (including the USA) through to the start of the season.

Unless they are coming back to Finch Farm and then going out for a few days at the beginning of July? I might give these guys a ring tomorrow.

Good season for FCN last year!

I think it's all to do with getting advice on the free school, davek. Red Bull might be sponsoring it.

(Salzburg is not just a city but a province and Red Bull Salzburg, amazing fact though it may be, don't have anything to do with a lot of what goes on in either province or city.)

I see we are playing Oxford as well.

So thats a League 1 side Bury, then off to America for 2 games over there.

Then back for a League 2 side Oxford.

Then Championship side Birmingham.

Then Villareal.

Will any more be added?

How about getting someone like Real Madrid? No hang on, they're playing Leicester. Yes Leicester : http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11835_6925405,00.html

I think we are trying to fit in a game against the St Winnifreds Girls 2nd Eleven as long as Kenwrong can agree a match fee.

We should play SV Austria Salzburg and tell that carpet bagging lot to f-off.

Once again to those of you who do not know the level of the MLS. The MLS is of Championship quality, which at first would lead one to wonder about lesser opposition in preseason. The major point to take into this is that the MLS will be in Mid Season form and these games will be played around their MLS fixtures.

I would say that playing a MLS team in Mid season form is as good as playing any top team in Preseason form .

If I remember correctly ManU lost a game to an MLS side last year during their preseason tour of the US.

@atrottel, thank you for helping me. Your link showed one of the articles i was talking about. I found two more, but i think they are all from the same source. They are about how good it is for the Salzburger Land (greater area) to have so much top teams
there in the summer. 15ooo overnight stays, tourist leave 5oooooo euro netto, promotion, etc.
FC Nürnberg goes to austrian "Längenfeld"/ Ötztal(power, running) and "Zell am Ziller" (playing, tactics), each for a week, this summer.
I'll travel to Zell for that training camp week, always best fun. I´d have gone to see EFC, too, it's not so far from us.
For our last match we had 4 Evertonians as guests for a long weekend. Best friends since our match in 07. Great guys, boss.
Hope to be able to come to Everton this automn. I will see. Ferry,U-boat,Yellow Duckmarine, lunch at Fenwicks and the Ship and Mitre....I like Liverpool
