Arsenal are still seen as a big club. And though they haven’t been in the champions league for a few years, they still won trophies and been to finals and semi finals.

In Italy they will be miles ahead of us, in terms
Of being seen as a big club.

But this notion if
Ancelotti being washed up at
60yrs if age and wouldn’t have got to manage another top club somewhere is laughable
The best you can give me for the big job he could have gotten is Arsenal could have hired him but didn't.

Wouldn’t be shocked to see Salah or Mane move on in the summer tbh. Madrid beckons.
Not sure anyone is paying big money for them 2. In years gone by, Madrid could splash out on 2 players over a summer window, im
Not so sure now. They also spent big on a 29/30 year old winger from England 2 yes ago and that’s been a disaster.

I think Mbappe is the player they want, if
They are spending big.

Salah & mane situation will be interesting, rumours they don’t get on and salah wants to leave. In an ideal world I think lfc planned to get rid at
29/30 thinking there would be plenty of takers. I’m not so sure now. And most likely for only half of what they wouid have hoped for.

Because they needed a manager at the same time lol

We’ve got him and he’s the best manager we’ve ever employed in 140yrs. We will never know where he wouid have gone,
If he hadn’t picked us. It’s all hypothetical.

But you’re taking like he’s a journeyman manager

No I'm talking like he was a great manager who came to us because his stock was down after some meh seasons and because his long career means the perception is he isn't bringing any new ideas that can take a club forward.

Is he still a great manager? We're finding out right now. TBD.

Im not sure his stock was that far down.

If you manage great teams,
You will leave/sacked at some point. Amd
Usually last a few years maximum.

There’s reason he left Napoli that I’ve already mentioned. And his replacement is hardly pulling up trees.

and in 15yrs only one
Man has lasted more than 2 years at Bayern and that was Pep. And they’ve had 4 managers since Ancelotti left in 2017. He hasn’t spent the last 5 years managing mid table teams

What teams would have interest if they fired their manager right now?
