This is one of those seasons that 72 points will give you 2nd place, we once finished with 72 points but 5th, as things stand, 66-67 points will give you 4th place, the good thing about us is we are not drawing lot of games, only 4 draws while United for example have 9 draws, we both won exactly 14 games, we lost 8 and they lost only 4.

With 36 points to play for, we currently have 46, we need 20 points at least to secure 4th, so if we win 7 out of the remaining 12 games we will end up with 67 points at least:

Games that we must win:
Burnley (H)
Palace (H)
Brighton (A)
Villa (H)
Sheffield (H)
Wolves (H)

Games we must at least get a draw:
Spurs (H)
Arsenal (A)
Villa (A)
West Ham (A)

Bonus games:
Chelsea (A)
City (A)

No Barnes for Leicester is a huge miss too. We can definitely finish above them..

That’s their run in (after Brighton away and Sheff Utd at home).

Those final 3 games could be huge.

Agree 100%

And we have lost to Newcastle twice, Fulham, West Ham at Home plus Leeds. That's 2 home fixtures (Newcastle and West Ham) we nearly always win and losses to two promoted sides at home.

We should be pissing the league and we haven't gotten out of second gear yet!

Happy days, I say!
Home and away is irrelevant this year with no fans

I don’t see Chelsea as a bonus. We can’t be giving them 3 points as they’re our direct rival for the spot.

With so many teams bunched up, someone is likely to go on a tear, with my money being on Chelsea. I'd want 70 to feel good about not having to depend on, say, another Leicester collapse.

8 wins is asking a lot, but I think we need 7 and some draws. A good run of clean sheets would likely get us there.

For me we must win all, full stop.

Keep conceding no goals and we have a great chance. We aren’t exactly free flowing, but the way we defend now, we don’t need to fear anybody. Only City look alot better than us, everybody else is inconsistent. Even if we don’t make it this year, things look bright for the future, if Carlo signs a couple more next summer. The most important thing is to keep all our best players, which hasn’t always been the case.

We’re looking solid with midfielders who can barely cover any ground. Imagine how we might look if instead of Gomes Bernard we had some quick top midfielders to go with Allan and Docuoure

How on Earth are we anywhere near the top four. The league is so, so poor.
Really disagree. We aren’t great and have massively ridden our luck I think - but the league has an awful lot of good sides this year.

Arsenal are 10th for goodness sake. Now it’s not a vintage Arsenal side but they are absolutely miles better than the Burnley’s, West Brom’s and Newcastle’s that have finished there recently.

This year we've proven we can win against anyone, anywhere as well as continued to show we can lose to anyone, anywhere. Best Carlo and the lads can do is just focus on the next match.
