£17m he cost them, was a friggin fantastic signing at the time but he's kicked on even more than I thought he would.

Does completely suit their style of play, though.

But having pace and power in this league gives you a massive leg up.

It's just not happening, unless we get Champions League and even then, probably not.

You're looking at £50-60m. There's other similar players we can get. We just need to be in for those players when they're available at £17m, not triple that.

You leave this CB pack for another year, at least, and let them develop.

Only thing with Mina, really, is his contract. 2 years left at the end of the season so it's stick or twist time.

But as an area of priority it's way, way down, especially with Branthwaite getting some experience too.

Branflakes needs another loan next season, not sitting on our bench playing every 3months.

You don't know what The Don will do, but he will have liked Big Dom and Rico up top together, with Hamez in the hole, it was hard to miss.

So I suspect he will try that again, but again, second-guessing The Don is impossible.
 
keeping an eye on zirkzee who chose parma over us

came on second half against Bologna at home, team were already 2-0 down, got 35 minutes, his side lost 3-0

came on second half against Hellas Verona away from home, team were drawing 1-1, got 34 minutes, his side lost 2-1

was an unused sub in Parma's 2-2 draw against Udinese at home

3-5-2 would certainly suit James and free him up
However we would need 2 quality RWB ( one starter and one to cover and another LWB to compete with Digne )
Plus Branthwaite would need to be recalled to give us 3 from 5 CBs
Allan Davies Doucoure JPG Gomes Siggy for the 3 in the middle
Plus cover up top IF Kean leaves
However as you say no one knows what the Don WILL do game to game
 
Couple stories doing the rounds regarding a 100mil warchest to back Carlo this summer. Can't see it myself with ffp.. .But would be nice wouldn't it?

Delph -£2m just cut his contract
And its a £20-30m net spend and a chunk of wages off the books.

See how Carlo rates King between now and summer as back up to front 2, if not then need to look at options there.
