Yet in another thread you have us selling Keane at 28 because he is "prime age" so why then a 29 year old? Need to be looking at younger players who can come in and stay for a while and who want to make a career here not final payday players

"On a free" makes a pretty big difference to the cost.

If we want to get top young talent in, we absolutely, positively have to be in the Champions League. In the meantime, we're going to have to get by with diamonds in the rough like Godfrey and experienced players like Rodriguez and Allan.

Holgate walks into the RS side and so does Davies.

They'd be classed as the best in the world as well.

Holgate is the epitome of short term thinking. He has shown enough (even before he went to WBA) that he is worth investing in. He’s been played out of position for most of the season yet we want to move him on now... he’s actually been a blessing that he could do the RB position so well. A defensive RB but doing a job .. just ask Mane. I’ve got no doubt he’s firmly in Carlos agenda.

Crazy to think he’s going to be 25 this year.. really in his prime... Carlo does need to decide.. we can afford to move one on and probably should.

He wants first-team football.

He confirmed in his latest interview, hes not interested in being a squad player, that's the reason I think he will be moved on.

But he might well fancy staying, being in Carlos rotation and learning from the very best, but if hes moved on, it will be down to Holgate and his "ambition".

For the record, I don't think we should sell him for any other reason, but if he wants to move, we shouldn't fight it.

Yeah I can align to that.. I wouldn’t hold any player back and never begrudge any that can jump to a bigger stage or more get more minutes.. he definitely cannot afford to be on the bench at his age.

I’m not convinced Keane can keep up his level for more than one more season and Mina isn’t any better in my opinion. So I can see Holgate, Keane and Godfrey rotating for the starting 2 positions next year... Mina in spite of his recent good form (and he has been good) is my 4th.

I think a lot expect Keane to go back into his shell once fans are back, but a lot are ignoring that as well as no fans, his upturn in form has been under Carlo, so for me I see no reason why Keane wont continue this marvellous form while Carlo is at the club.

Mina is the odd 1 out, hes very injury prone, of course hes a FOREN and rumour suggests hes on very good money, but, he seems very happy here with his mates Hamez and Rico, so personally, I wouldn't be touching any of our CBs.

agree.. i really don’t see Carlo even glancing in this area unless a bid comes in and he feels the need to replace.
My thinking in Keane is more age.. it’s really season after next but as he’s not all about pace he might be able to keep trudging on...

Carlo does come across as a manager who will ensure he has a strong defensive line before building further up the pitch... I didn’t think we needed a new CB this season and we got Godfrey... if he sees an upgrade in any of them we shouldn’t be surprised if he and Marcel pull the trigger.

Depends whos available really, I know it was a Winter window, but when the "best" the Champions can get is some yard dog from Preston and a competition winner from DAS SPL, you have to wonder.

Raphael Dias Bell-oli aka Raphinha please Farhad
Smashing player ,PL proven but would Leeds even consider upsetting Bielsa by selling him
I think the Leeds owner would sell his soul to keep Bielsa happy
Unless its big money, and Bielsa is happy he can adequately replace him and improve the squad with the money I cannot see it happening
Bielsa will walk if promises made to him are not kept.
Players through the years seem to love playing for Bielsa so I cannot see him asking for a transfer
I reckon north of 40m would be needed
