I would just love to see us play 4-3-1-2. I'm not sure what the best version of a midfield three is in that, I'm tempted to say it is Davies deep with Allan destroying things and Doucoure trying to get up and support, but I also don't really love that from a getting the ball forward standpoint.
He gets stick for his rotation and his chopping and changing from most, but I love it.

It keeps the players on their toes, it keeps other teams guessing, it doesn't always work, but hes a breath of fresh air after our past managers who would have a heart attack if they changed things for even a game.

Fantastic footballer, but his passing was below average, amount of times he used to give up the ball in the middle of the park was painful.
This is what I talk about when I say his time here is just completely misremembered. Allan this year and Gana in his last year here were dispossessed about the same amount per game, but one is a wonderful footballer and the other painful.

Not really mate.

It was a genuine question, I'm curious if people have watched him or just fell in love with his name, I'm yet to find somebody who can tell me how he plays.
I watch Norwich highlights to see what nastiness Buendia is up to and Aarons rarely features. So he's not a major attacking threat and 5'7. I don't know.

Gana in his last year was vastly different than any other Gana.

He literally went AWOL for 6months after an AFCON.

He's really not. I know he's Brazilian so people assume he's not a yard dog type tackler but that's what he's been for us, his passing is extremely meh.
Well Allan had been playing for a champions league team, challenging for the Italian title. While gana was getting relegated then signing for a mid table side.

PSG wanted Allan but Napoli wanted 80mil gana was probably well down their list and he’s now surplus to requirements after 12 Months.

I bet PSG are gutted they didn’t just wait a while or have Brands as DOF.

And now Gana is playing in the CL beating Barcelona and Allan is watching Tom Davies. I'm not sure this makes your point.

oh sorry mate, thought it was a jab.

Sadly have watched them (twice or so), he’s just a good footballer, would genuinely be Godfrey on the right, and at £35m is a must for me.
We’re not that far off, but Aaron’s gives us one of best back lines in division to be honest.

Rest needs improving though!

Let’s not forget Allan has been furced to play the number 6 role, which is not his best position really. So maybe now he will get the chance to get up
And down the pitch.
he’s technically a better footballer than gana, how you can’t see this is baffling

Didn’t call him painful, just his passing.

Loved Gana, but if he picked his head up, he’d have got the passing accuracy well up.

£7m was some of the best business we’ve done in years.
