Not won a single game comfortably since Brighton at the beginning of October.

Score line wise we won comfortably but that was a tough game. We capitalised on 3 errors from their midfielder. They dominated possession and had as many shots as we did. I honestly can’t remember the last time we were able control a game and comfortably see it out.

Cruising against Leeds and still decided we needed to camp inside our penalty area for the whole second half. We are an extremely negative team.

I don't think that's what happened though, is it?

We conceded an early goal in the second half because of a defensive cock up and then Leeds - one of the most mental teams going - pinned us back for 15 minutes or so.

Once we got through that spell we managed to get back on the front foot (Richarlison had a great run and shot that got us up the pitch).

I don't think it was a tactical thing to sit back. It was just Leeds pushing everything at us and us defending, by and large, very well.

You've picked a pretty bad example, because in that game, like v Wolves and most of our away games, there was clearly a plan.

The issue is when he seems to chuck players on the pitch and expect them to just do stuff. Our players aren't good enough for that. And the few that are get bogged down trying to do it all, or in James' case, haven't got the legs to get on the ball deep and run with it to take us up the pitch. That's where the main issues come from.

Also, back to the Leeds game, we could easily have won that 4-1. Had a blatant pen not given and Dom missed a sitter.

Carlo said in his presser today we’ll be a lot more defensive against City, wasn’t that how we set up against Fulham given we were camped back in our own half and couldn’t get out because of mighty Fulham’s top class midfield and attackers?

Sheff Wednesday.

If you mean a league game, West Brom, and tbh we were pretty comfortable v Palace even with just the one goal.

That does come from players, though. We have players who make far too many mistakes, regularly.

Carlo just didn't help the other day playing a crap system.

West Brom and Palace were both before Brighton, so he's right really.

No, he tried to be attacking by playing the two FBs, and a team full of - in theory - ball-playing midfielders to get us on the ball.

It just never worked out like that. But the team the other day wasn't a defensive team, it just had no shape or plan to it.

We conceded two goals against West Brom, Pickford pulled off a great save and they also hit the post in the first half. Second half maybe was a lite bit more comfortable as they were down to 10 men but the initial games certainly weren’t controlled or comfortable. Even the Palace game, second half in particularly they had us pegged back for 45 minutes.

I mean we won 5-2 it was comfortable in the end.

If you're referring to a full, 90-minute dominant performance, the last good one we did was probably the 4-0 v Utd in Silva's first season.

We're not a good side. We're a moments team.

Leicester away was a very good away performance
