ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It wreaks of the January window desperation like we did with Tosun, Walcott et al. with FSG only reluctantly releasing the money due to the growing pressure.

I can't think why else they would bring in two centre backs at once who you'd suspect won't be starting once van Richard and Gomez are back.
They needed sombody even when those two are back, after long injury breaks, you just dont know if the player is going to be the same or will start getting injuries over and over again which seem to happen to some players , centre backs cant afford to take it easy.

If James had done what he has for us this season but in the red of Liverpool he’d be getting hailed as the best player in the world, one of the best in premier league history, and he’d be a shoo in for player of the year and team of the year.

Thiago v James is a nonsense comparison of the most overrated player in the league v the most underrated. Seriously if Thiago hit any pass even approaching the sort that James plays to Digne every game you’d never hear the end of it.

Stranger things have happened. He always tends to bail out on clubs when reaching the natural end of a cycle, it doesn't get spoken about enough what an utter mess he left Dortmund in despite the success of his reign. FSG will need to offer him a lot of transfer money for him to sign a new deal, otherwise I can see him spitting his dummy out. Perfect excuse to ring Stevie Me because he'll pay them to get the job next.

Yeah and he'll have the cup with Rangers on his CV too

I'm looking forward to all the Kopites who either never watch Scottish football or talk it down suddenly acting like winning the Title with Rangers is this big deal that shows how good Gerrard is. I bet it will be the same ones who laughed at Rodgers for winning it

If someone decides to sit and watch this rather than the actual match, well they’ve genuinely got large problems.

It must be the fans from further afield who have been duped in to thinking watching this type of thing proves their credentials. The funny thing is, hardly any of it must make sense to them.

Not sure many teams as good as the Liverpool team last season have dropped off as much so quickly without any motivating factors (players or managers haven’t left). Even before the Van Dijk injury they’d conceded 7 to Villa and Leeds could have put the same number past them. Very very suspicious, mirroring exactly what happened in Dortmund.

The way they play runs players into the ground

That and they don't have the Anfield crowd anymore

They're nowhere near as good without fans
