ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The whole Koulibaly sounds like a manager trying to save face, an sends a message, a poor one mind. He trying to get the fans on his side in a fight he won’t win.
If they bought me Kouli we would have won and not been in this position, instead they got me 2 defenders I don’t want(that’s why there not in the squad).
Think back to his Ben Davis statement and the WOW, that was said as a dig not a compliment.

Loved CB having a dig and “The mask has slipped” line that said on here all the time
They're £32.5m net spend up, during a pandemic.

The whole charade of FSG being monsters is mental. Are they in it to make money? 100% but how do they make money? By being successful and expanding their revenue.

That new stand is worth over £2m a game to them, in 10-years of ownership have spent £250m net, built a new state-of-the-art training facility, renovated around the stadium for a better match day experience (arguably the worse thing they've done to the area).

What more do they want? Look at Hicks and Gillett, they took them to the brink of death, and they've got a cheek to moan about them being money grabbers.

So to conclude, 8,000 more fans can now attend, overseen first title in 30 years, a Champions League and backed the manager no end... sound like utter monsters.
When you put it like that...
What we have here then is monsters galore...a Monstrous Regiment indeed

FSG - Corporate monster, aka, money
The whole sky/UEFA monster, aka, money.
The rs - truly a cult of monstrous proportions if ever there was one.
The whole of the media - publicity monster for the rs cult and the whole sky/UEFA monster
And - last but not...well last anyway
Klopp - current high priest of the cult, who is just one melt down from revealing his true monstrous nature (ballboys and journos beware)

(Apologies to...and for...any monsters I've missed out)

He said: “With Liverpool, a few days ago, we were at the stage of signing the contract that would tie the Reds to Ismaïla Sarr. Everything was sorted: the monthly wages and the length of the deal. I’d even asked Sadio Mané to find him an apartment.

“But it in the end, the English club weren’t able to put the €40m on the table to finalise the affair. You have to say that if English clubs that once animated the transfer window are struggling to put funds together, that shows the depth of the crisis affecting football”.

While I don't disagree they are skint - didn't they simply buy Jota instead?

Yep, only got Jota as Wolves were willing to accept £5mill upfront, same as Bayern.

Problem with that comes the fact that all these staged payments come out of future budgets. So Bayern, Wolves could be owed £20mill this summer.

James Pearce done a worrying article for them on their transfer plans should they miss out on CL football this summer too - in short, they will be up crap creak.

Jota was bought in the summer.

Sorry - my mistake. I find this incredibly hard to believe either way. It's very very unlikely they would have been so far down the road with a striker in Jan, given they had one centre half and two midfielders playing out of position

I would put that in the "agent looking attention" folder; that said - to your initial point they appear to be skint, but the centre half situation appears to explain that more than Sarr

How can you agree a contract but no speak to a club before they had permission to discuss a contract?

Oh it's Liverpool, nothing to see here.
