...we have no real alternative to Gomes, a proper passer who looks after possession of the ball. It’s almost like a Quarterback role. Yep, we could do with somebody like Gomes who can run.

I’m on board... we need a keeper. Do what it takes, what it costs to get a class keeper... no team can trophies without one.

season de gea was unbeatable and took Utd single handedly to the title..

I feel we might need to sell one of our CBs for some good money and Invest. We can afford to let either Mina or Keane go and would get good money now.. can’t wait another season (deffo not for Keane) before value drops.

I would have put that to a RB but knowing we need a keeper now... actually.. sell Pickford (will also attract decent money) and keep Olsen as backup. I wouldn’t have Pickford as back up as he has more value than Olsen.

I think we need a new right side.

Quality wide forward and an attacking right back.

Crucial now is to get in a top keeper...its becoming ridiculous. Luckily we didnt sign olsen in jan...

Key position for me though is defensive midfield. We need a top class all rounder there who can do everything. That will be out platform in front of the defence.

Id say we need 4 players at a minimum and ideally another centre mid as well + a forward if Kean is sold.

There’s quite a few exciting young right wing backs around for decent fees. At the upper end you have Tariq Lamptey or Barcelona’s Emerson, but there are other gems such as Shakthar’s diminutive Brazilian Dodô or Sassulo’s Mert Müldür.

Agreed that more legs in midfield is a priority but it’s interesting to see the improvement our players are making. If we managed to win something, it may even cure their fragile confidence.

I just think a Keeper a RB and a winger will be much higher on the priority list. All depends on who we can punt aswell
