It is but you cant tell me certain sides dont "get up" for certain fixtures. I mean look at us in the Derby the RS could lose 5 on the bounce then play like peak Brazil soon as Everton roll out.

West Ham until recently had a shocking record at GP it certainly plays into the mentality I dont buy that results are random or solely based off ability of the 11 on the pitch.

After the way Citeh / Lescott disrespected us we had a good record against them in the immediate seasons after which I put down to the mentality of getting one over on them as since then the 4-0 aside they pump us everytime they play us.

Teams certainly do get up for some games more than others.

Ive said a few times, football is mostly about who wants it most on the day.

But if you say Newcastle wanted it more cos of Pickford, why didn't we want it more FOR Pickford?
