ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

possibly - but very hard to imagine German gov changing their minds now. They understood how highprofile a decision, declining the special excepmtion was

No perhaps not. It's a couple of days though isn't it? Maybe they bring it a day forward and allow them to play Wednesday?

In these times, you do think a lot of what lots of institutions do, if often based on trying to pressure someone else to do something different.

Why can't Leipzig host the game? They are hosting other games aren't they?

It looks to me like Liverpool an't comply with the regulations in Germany at present.

And no, European games should be suspended at the moment.

Germany has banned traveller's from countries, including the UK, hit hard by new variants of the virus. A German interior ministry statement said Bundesliga club Leipzig had been told the fixture "does not meet the requirements for an exception"

I wouldn't say it was down to the RS not being able to comply with the regulations in Germany at present.

Leipzig game should go ahead, our very own fa has come up with the solution, they should be forced send their u16, they can quarantine a week before and after the game .

they are north of even money for Sunday - it seems a remarkable bet

Generally markets refect the money, and Liverpool (and to a degree United) fans distort markets. Always great value hedging against them. In general I only like even money or better bets, so that doesn't come too often, but hedging City would be a smart play.

I think it may go 0-0.

Klopp now claiming had 2 weeks off when our match got canceled. They played 4 days after.

He's lost his head. They're going to fall down the league while he self implodes.

He is, as is becoming more and more frequent, factually correct. But he is right on this occasion to be calling out city for pulling a fast one here.

They managed to get a very very tough game cancelled, despite to their own admition having 4 players out through Covid at a time any PL manager would love to get a break. It was a huge advantage to city when they went to stamford bridge four days later & left us up a creek, with late notice for something you can only speculate city were planning for at least in the previous few days. It should be us being vocal about it - it's non of Klopps business
