Not that we don't have striker issues, but we have a right back issue and midfield issue that is way more pressing than a championship level striker.

He has played in the top flight for the past 5 or so years. Not sure how that makes him a Championship level striker?

Our defense is much better than our attack, mate. We have options at least, just need to find the right combination

I think his finishing in the box is better than anything we have already.
I’m glad we’ve replaced Niasse and Tosun with him, much better player and can play in more positions.

Iwobi crossing gone astray so get King on

better options now with King than we had without King.
I like this deal to tide us over until summer

by regularly not scoring?

he's got what... 50 odd goals to his name over the span of his whole career, and seasons where he's in double digits are more in the area of a statistical error?

Thats not how these things work.

The reason they drag on till the last minute is because they haggle on price and other deals going through or not.

Deals are happening all the time, they just get done during the window. If its not at the last minute - then it means there's no haggling over the price and the deal was too good and the club getting the money wanted to lock it in.

I think it's a good deal, we will sign him on a longer basis if he proves himself. If he doesn't play well, then the outlay has been relatively small, compared with some other deals we've tied ourselves into. I think he will do pretty well though and get himself 5 or 6 goals.
