There are transfers that have a higher ceiling than others. As a club that doesn't have the ability to sign whoever we feel like we should try to have more of our signings be those for me. This is the opposite. This is a low floor signing. Those don't do anything for you if you aren't already competitive.

Sandro was well worth the gamble at £5m until some bellend though it was a good idea to pay him a £100k a week.
