We're so slow when we're on the ball. The couple of times we upped the tempo, we created some chances but then we just loosen our grip.

There's not an awful lot on the bench, but Gomes for Sigurdsson makes sense for me.

We are a pile of manure,I can't remember the last time we were the better team in a home premier league game, even the wins against Arsenal and Chelsea were were played off the park and hanging on,but Newcastle are a poor side and should be despatched.

Poor going forward there. We're taking too long to transition from defending to attack. Really ponderous and easy to defend against. We have to move the ball quicker.

It's just absolutely classic PL refereeing to book Shelvey for stamping on James and then not book the other player for a virtually identical cynical foul on him.

Horrific referee.

Newcastle playing well.

Been saying 9th all season. These lads can't be relied on to put away the lesser sides. It's all very well going to Leicester and Spurs and winning, but losing to Leeds, Newcastle, and West Ham sort of negates that. It suggests mid-table by definition.

As I have long said, we will be on a rollercoaster this season until Ancelotti gets his own men in most positions. We have too many mercurial components to be consistent enough to genuinely compete. We might yet win this - but we might just as easily lose it. Not really the sign of a side going for the
I agree we can't expect top 4 with our midfield. They've definitely targeted Digne in this game. Nearly all of Callum Wilson's touches on the ball have been in the final third down that side. Be interesting to see if Carlo makes any changes.
