yeah thats a good point most United fans dont like glory hunters , i think a lot of that stems from Munich and best law charlton etc , but today most clubs anyway are miles away from their working class communities , yes they do charity work but most of the owners regard their clubs as playthings

the drivel posted about regenerating East Manchester . a few shops and a library yeah im sure that solves 40 years of economic and social decline , so tell the truth about your arab oil wealth what has it changed sweet fook all

hey i have never said that United spent big money , but has any team spent 400 million like Guardiola in the last few years on defenders alone

Probably not.

From an Everton perspective, the more teams that can wind up the RS the better. We knighted Fergie on here years before the Queen did. Hence they get a free pass.

Until our ill gotten gains from folk who deffo do not own us, and deffo do not lob cash at Russian clubs to buy our dross, and pay us £30m to be head of a non existent queue cos its a good idea, change the scene, then we will go back to hating the pair of you!

Spot on mate

Why not say thank god for Mansour and his billions embrace it and without we would be [Poor language removed]

To play devils advocate here mate, where do you reckon United would be without buying Keane, Ince, Cantona, Schmeichel, Cole, Yorke, Van Nistlerooy, Ferdinand, Veron etc all for pretty much record fees at the time over a 10 year period.

Everyone is investing in football mate. I'm not sure its fair to call it doping when City do it and investing when anyone else does.

City and United are two great clubs. Dont really hold any animosity to either anymore. They are doing it different ways currently, but United are on the up too now, so it's all good I'm sure.

This comment has blown my mind.

I assume you mean "most local fans dont like glory hunters" ?

Wonder where United would be without their global customer base...
