Didn't Burnley get a 1-1 draw at Anfield last season which stopped them winning all 19 home games! Imagine if Burnley beat them tonight with the scabbiest 0-1 away win ever, please let it happen
The crisis is well and truly on them now.
A lot were saying he just needed to change the front 3 a bit, and have some from the bench. Made no difference.
They are just stacking up shots and crosses from distance that cause no challenge for opponents. Their best chance today came from a mistake by me.
This is no longer just a dip, it's a medium term crisis. The question is how long does it go on for, and is Klopp in the right mindset to stem the leakage?
Make that 14 wins in 28 games.Completely agree. Klopp is not someone who can build a dynasty. Just doesn't have the temperament for it. Peaks and troughs.
Liverpool's form since the restart last season is appalling: 14 wins in 27 games.
This is a team that lost focus way before this season started. This is no poor run or blip, it's a team with consistency...the consistency of barley a top 10 club.
Yeah my arl fella called it ****house defendingDid anyone notice today, that the penalty come from Thiago bottling a 50/50 aerial challenge? Didn't even compete, just ran past the player and allowed the Burnley lad to have a free pass into their box.
Only interested in shouting from distance when Dyche has his back turned. As soon as Dyche turns, stands his ground, gets face to face, Klopp wants nothing to do with it.I mean I am not sure I'd go as far as to say Klopp bottled it, but he looks slightly deranged in that clip to me. I didn't see before or after.
Trying to be objective I would say;
1) Klopp says something to Dyche on the way past, which he ignores. Klopp then follows him havign a go.
2) Dyche says something back and stops.
3) Klopp then walks after him angrily gesticulating. Pauses when Dyche stops.
4) Dyche walks into the dressing room, and Klopp continues his tirade.
I didn't watch the first half at all, so not sure if anything prompted this, but looks to me like he's lost the plot. Did Dyche do anything in the 1st half to wind him up?
I'm sure Dyche would have loved to have got aggressive with him, but he looks in control of his emotions, and focussed on his job, which is to sort out a half time team talk. Klopp looks likes gone there. I've seen Moyes and Ferguson ahve an aggressive bust up, but neither of them seemed to lose the plot like that. I'd imagine the players can sense the nervous energy from him.
All their players dipping in form, pace, and intensity, all at exactly the same time, after 2 seasons of all of them hitting world class form together all at the same time, weirdly mirroring exactly what happened at Dortmund.
Just some good training though and gegenpressing.
Yeah my arl fella called it ****house defending
Yes. He bottles that tackle. Amazed nothing was made of it, from the likes of Souness. Say what you want about him, he wouldnt have stood for that. He ran out of the way.
