I'd think if we were to win it this year, it would be a bit more relevant because the playing field has been more or less constant so far, apart from those handful of games where fans were allowed in. There's been no huge break, no changing of the subs rule, no faffing about with the VAR. It wouldn't be the same as a title in normal times, sure, but it still would have more credence to it than last year's circus.

I commented on the early blow up during the Today’s football thread as I happened to notice the clock when the ball was played over.
It was a decent pass that certainly could have had Mane in on goal.
Maybe the kopites on here noticed my post ?

Shame they didn’t get to finish the move really..

If you watch them they don't seem to want to pass to each other - few of my rs mates saying they can't stand each other off the pitch, and don't talk or get on.

Could be more "rs excuse bingo" like, they love to find something to blame for why they aren't blitzing everyone.

I'm thinking the covid pandemic has seriously buggered they're ped/Spezial brau supply lines meself.

Why would they talk and get on off the pitch though ?
They have nothing in common do they ?

I loved to be at the game a bit early and watch our lads warm up etc.

The ‘young’ lads DO clearly get on with each other. Holgate and Tom just seem to have a laugh and Dom gets involved as well.
I can only assume Godfrey is now part of it and that’s sound.

To suggest that senior players need to get on off the field is miles off.

I doubt Delph gives a toss about getting on with the young lads socially for example and I’m not just using him as I don’t like him either.

There’s an optimum gap for them between games, but if they miss that, even by a matter of minutes, it messes them up. Which is obviously unfair on them.

Totally agree with what you've said there mate - it's just like they go out of each others way not to pass to each other?

I don't think Delph gives a toss about much aside from his wage packet tbh - he won't get on with some of the senior pros, never mind the kids!

Still think that time should be up at the exact time.
Does my head in when an extra minute is played then a team gets a corner so they add on a bit more (usually favouring the usual suspects).
Either a hooter and out of the refs hands or like rugby the whistle goes the next time the ball goes dead.
 

This of course all comes down to the fact United didn’t play ball and come out and attack and leave the front 3 licence to roam and create havoc on the counter attack. United will be happy with the point. RS had a 9 day break before this game to prepare, united also played midweek at Burnley. The masses expected the RS to win easily, obviously united didn’t follow the script gene the backlash.

I agree mate, but it was like 2 or 3 seconds early, and Lindeloff just heads it away if it's allowed to play on.

Classic RS media propaganda game. They do the same thing every time we draw a derby. ‘Everton were poor, they’ll never have a better chance, they couldn’t beat a weakened Liverpool etc.’ The pundits ensure all the focus is kept on the opposition not winning, Liverpool’s unbeaten home record etc.

The fact is Liverpool were at home against a team they finished 30 points ahead of last season and they had longer to prepare for it. The only team that failed in that game was Liverpool. United got exactly what they came for.
 
I've seen refs blow their whistle for half time or full time a few seconds early a few times and nothing ever gets mentioned but it happens to them and its brought up loads. Weird
