We do need someone to just sit in front of our defense and mop up and I guess Khedira could maybe do that for 6 months but I think it is far less certain that he will adapt to the league and be available enough to really do anything useful. But I guess on a 6 month contract that is risk free.

Of course it is never going to be 6 months and that is the issue.

Im sure we could get him to agree to a pay as you play 6 month deal totally on our terms with no benefit to him at all.

I’m looking at the times of those injuries, then looking at the number of games he’s played this season (0), and from this raw data I make it that he probably hasn’t played a game of football since November 2019.
