It's nice to still have a bit of a choice regarding selections despite the injuries we've had. It's down to the good form that certain players have shown recently, namely Sigurdsson, Iwobi & even Davies the other night.

It's difficult to break up a team that's been winning, so with that in mind I'd opt for the following:

Pickford

Holgate
- Keane - Mina - Godfrey

Davies
- Doucoure - Sigurdsson

--- Iwobi --------- Richarlison
DCL

Leaves us with the likes of Coleman, Gomes, Bernard & Gordon to use from the bench.

imo Richarlison is the key, it’s been said he hasn’t been that good, but in the games I’ve seen he’s looked dangerous when running with the ball from the left. His decisions setting up chances have been poor he gets that right more and lots more goals will come. Imo he’s our most important player.
I think another factor is that defenses know how good he is which creates more space for DCL and Iwobi.

I'm gutted hamez is still out, as I think he would have enjoyed playing against Dr hammers, but hopefully we play with the confidence from the last few matches and Carlo and the lads give the old ginger shithouse a footballing lesson.

Nothing against wham either - I just can't stand their manager.

That would be the side for me as well. Though Coleman does give us more attacking options going forward and I would assume West Ham will be set up quite defensively.

A 3-0 Everton win oncoming imo
DCL with a brace and Gylfi with a pea roller from 20 yards.

I think Coleman starts and Holgate drops to the bench where his versatility helps. Also think Gomes starts with Davies on in the second half. We probably want to score first and be 2-0 up by HT.

This is the interesting bit for me macca, we've been defensive of late so will we be a bit more open and get at them or will we stick to how we've gone about games of late. On paper it's got 1-1 written all over it.

I think that's where we struggled slightly against Sheff Utd mate but as soon as Coleman came on it created a completely new issue for them defensively. That's why I wouldn't be surprised to see Coleman start this one Lou. His crossing is poor but what he does do well when he's on his game is he makes the opposition full back have to think about when they can attack, especially with Iwobi in front of him who will do his defensive duties when required.

Yeah would agree with you on Coleman mate.

What we need is a clone of Digne for the RB slot and we'd be absolutely laughing.

I've got to be honest as well, I was appalled to read that Iwobi has only scored 1 league goal. That's bloody embarrassing that and I hope it's something Ancelotti really hits home to him whilst he's had this run of games. We need him and Richarlison to really start putting the ball away and creating chances for themselves as well as for others.

Imagine that!

Things have seemed a bit less 'Everton that' in recent times so I'm hopeful we can take advantage of the extra rest and recent results having largely worked in our favour. This is a huge game for us. Let's just get out there and get the job done. COYB!
