I was thinking this earlier. I reasoned Minas ceiling is higher than Keane, but Keane is more consistent. So a tough one. Can Mina maintain this level for 12 months, as Keane has done?

That's the challenge for Mina. Hes bigger than Keane, and a bit quicker. Not a lot in it, but his best is slightly higher than Keanes. Keane has been very consistent though.

With Godfrey proving to be an absolute beast of an Evertonian, this begs the question: what in the world does Carlo do when Digne comes fit?

It's a good problem to have, mate. We've often moaned about having no depth and a lack of quality options in our squad. Personally, I hope we bring Digné back slowly from the bench when he's fit, and not just throw him into the starting eleven straight away.

Another solid performance from Ben Godfrey yesterday, but it was disappointing that he got himself such a silly booking. With our squad being depleted the way it is, we need to avoid the possibility of future suspensions by not picking up daft yellows.

This kid is a thoroughbred the way he surges forward and pockets wingers is a joy to see

Takes him a bit to get going but you can see that he knows when he’s hitting his stride... he bombs down the wing and doesn’t stop until someone fouls him

Ben has made one or two mistakes yes, but I have massively impressed with the young man. our back four of Holgate/Keane/Mina and Ben have been mightily impressive.

This lad’s potential is frightening, he is a very good footballer and will improve with experience, but, he also has things that you cannot coach into a player, size, strength, physicality and above all speed.

A true athlete.

Seems odd when you look at James and Allan etc but he is looking like the signing of the season. Very early days but there is a bit of Rio Ferdinand in his style. Tough but calm. Can only improve as well.

He was a Brands signing when people wrote him off; however he’s currently a Carlo signing.
