It's not by the way, it took Klopp and Edwards at least 4 years to get the squad they wanted and they didn't have as much deadwood and FFP constraints we do.

Brands has not been perfect, he's made a few really poor buys and few others that haven't delivered what we expected, but all our best players have come to club during his tenure. DoFs need 5 years at least to make any sort of substantial impact at a club at all levels, giving him a 3 year deal to start with was weird. If he goes at the end of contract I wouldn't be devastated, though I would offer him a new one and see if we continue to improve like we have over the past 12 months.
