Agree on everything but the better manager than those 5 thing. The only managers on par or close to Carlo out of every manager in the PL is Jose and Klopp imho. I like Nuno, but hes far off and Brendan is even further down the manager quality ladder.

I have Carlo up there with Pep, Jose and Klopp. Solskjaer, Lampard, Arteta, Nuno, Rodgers aren’t in his class. That’s why I said we have a better manager than 5 of the 8 teams ahead of us.

Both managers have strengths but I think Rodgers weaknesses are more obvious because they've been exposed during the different challenges he's had at the 4 clubs.

I think it's more that they're more visible to us. If I'm being honest, I didn't see Nuno's work at Valencia or Porto. Those stints didn't go quite as well. It's very possible that he learned from those stints, and that there's a clear progression trajectory. That also may not be the case - I'm not in a position to know either way.

Not going to mince words - Carlo, Pep and Jose have generally had more to work with than Rodgers and Nuno have had, though they've also earned that with track records. Klopp is a serial builder of teams that has worked under similar (and in one case, the same) conditions at various points in his career.

Those four managers are obviously very different than the rest of the Prem crop - they've all lifted the European Cup and been to several finals across multiple clubs, and they've all lifted domestic league trophies in multiple top leagues as well as domestic cups.

Rodgers and Nuno obviously aren't in that tier, but they certainly belong in the category of "proven" Prem managers that can field teams with a level of play above the mid-table/relegation specialist level.

I'm not so sure that it makes sense to order the managers within those tiers; a better approach may be to ask whether their set of strengths and weaknesses suits a particular club. Carlo fits us much better than, say, Pep or Mourinho likely would have.

5 points off the top of the league. If it wasn't for that recent dip in form, we could easily be top now. The Ancelotti era is nearly a year old, and there's no doubt that we have improved hugely within the past year. If it wasn't for the Don Carlo, then we wouldn't have players like Rodriquez wearing the royal blue. So i think the Carlo out brigade, need to kind of wind it in a bit. Criticise when criticism is due and merited yes. But this Carlo out, Carlo is a dinosaur rubbish, that some posters on here spout, jesus like give me a break! We are blessed to have a manager of Carlo Ancelottis expertise managing this club.

Thank you. Sit down put your feet up and watch Carlo sort it. Sure there will be dodgy results and poor runs. Five years time, we will be laughing.

I make you right really. I think he gets found out after a year or so, which the same has happened at Leicester.

They are also very reliant on Vardy. He's 34 in January, you wonder how much longer he keeps going for?
How do you think we will finish this season? We now played 13 games. An in a very strong position for once.
I might be wrong but was it you saying how we needed to make a massive swing with our goal difference to get top 4/6 an how do you find we are doing on that swing?

Not sure I said that one mate. I reckon we will finish 6/7th but there is potential to go a bit higher.
