The thing with our transfer policy is that we’ve got to strike a balance between players for long term and high profile short term players. We as a club need to make ourselves relevant again. As we’re not in Europe we can only do that by bringing in big names who could help attract a lesser known talented player that could help us push on. If we could get Khedira in a 6 month deal who could rotate with Doucoure and Allan to keep the squad fresh, then so be it. He may not be the fastest player, but if you’ve got a good footballing brain you know where to be and when. Also I’d take a good calm passer of the ball at the minute rather than someone who can leg it around the pitch all day. As for Alli, I’ll admit I’m not his biggest fan, but if he can help raise the profile of the club on a short loan whilst rotating in the front 3 then I don’t think it’s a bad deal (I wouldn’t outright buy him, unless his contract was running down).

Remember when I was probably one of a handful on here who wanted Silva out but was told to pipe down as it was a transition season.

That is a transfer that really would worry me tbh, i find him a really, really poor player, he can't even get on Spurs bench at the moment.

Yet stats wise passing etc quite decent. As I have said before though under Delli if not good enough for Jose not good enough for us, steer well clear.
