What are you currently listening to?

Been a while since I've been active on here, but this is the thread that probably is closest to my heart on GOT. Made a lot of mates and discovered and shared so much great music (Does anyone remember the Django Django craze of 2012?).

Anyone this is probably my favorite new thing in the last few years. Pronoun is Alyse Vellturo, an American singer-songwriter, and one-woman band based in Brooklyn, New York. Her music has been described by critics as indie/synth. and indie pop. So YES FUKN PLEASE.

I like this! I'm a sucker for the well-crafted female vocalist pop-sound (e.g., Haim, Chvrches, Lorde).

From the album of the year

Great album but my number 1 has been the same since February. I can't look past that Spanish Love Songs album, its just brilliant song writing and captured the mood of the year before it even happened. I'm also a sucker for anything that sounds like The Wonder Years and The Menzingers had a baby.

The Creeper and Sharptooth albums as well are brilliant but funnily enough the 2 things I've listened to the most this year, in terms of new stuff, were the Salem and Bloom EP's. Salem are just what Creeper were doing on the EP's which is still my Creeper, short, poppy Goth punk rock love songs. And Bloom is just great melodic hardcore like Funeral for a Friend from Australia.
