Computer games.

I had 2 Xbox's on preorder, one for me and one for a friend. Friend backed out Sunday and I was already charged so I thought, why not put it on Craiglist here in my area. Got $800 for it in about 90minutes. So $300 for about 20mins of quasi-"work" for it.

I get back and have about 10 more replies to the add. Favorite one was someone saying they will pay $500 for it because that is retail price but not a penny more. Well, a) lol just STFU but b) I ALSO paid tax on that. So I'm going to take a loss for the privilege of selling a brand new system you cannot get ANYWHERE around here to you?

Is Dark Souls (any of them) worth a shot? Somehow ever got round to playing them.

For PC none of that console nonsense.
Dark souls 3 is real good fun, the cinders mod is apparently excellent for PC (adds loads of new weapons and armour) though if you want something challenging but not brutally difficult I’d point you in the way of Dragon’s Dogma - Dark Arisen which is a very unique / fun game itself

I've made the switch from Playstation (PS1/2/3/4) to Xbox. The PS5 just wouldn't look good in my set up at home. Technically Xbox looks better on paper, and whilst exclusive games are an issue - it looks like Microsoft are buying up companies to fix that issue. Plus I only really play the normal CoD, FIFA and a racing game - so that doesn't bother me too much.

Nervous about the switch but think I've made the right decision!

Anyway, ordered from EE 2 days ago and it arrived today. Bit of a pain (called about 12 times and every call had a different answer - out of stock, you've definitely got one, it won't be with you till christmas, maybe next week etc)...but anyway - all delivered now!

I mean not really. Some things the Xbox has a slight advantage, other things the PS5 has an advantage. Main difference is the exclusives and the controller.
The PS5 controller is apparently amazing for racing games.

I'm the polar opposite. Had an Xbox since the 360, and have made the switch to the PS5. Everything I'm reading so far has me feeling happier and happier with my decision

Can't say the what the console looks like on the shelf had much of a bearing tbh!

Horses for courses!

The innovation in the controller would sell it to me alone, never mind the games!
