Things I like about USA (add your own list)

The best thing about America is the whole world comes here to live and we're better off because of it. #1 virtue is diversity even though we get a bad rap for being insular. Food, Sport, People, you name it.

Specifically:

TV: HBO, Comedy Central (Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are national treasures), and there's even quality stuff on network TV if you look for it. And with Directv, there's nothing I can't watch. Nothing.
Food: See my comment above. There's literally nothing you can't get here.
People: In general Americans tend to be very open, friendly people who despite our reputation are generally very interested in getting to know you if you're from somewhere else.
Vegas: I could write a book on how much I love that place. It is what it is and doesn't pretend to be anything else and doesn't care.
Women: Because we're a melting pot, we get such an incredible diversity of types. Plus American women spend more time thinking about how they look than everything else combined. And I thank them for that.

This .... Very warm, open people in my experience, again, it's all about spending time with them and living amongst them. That way you cut through all the stereotypical bull****. I used to think that all Germans were boring, arrogant and unfunny! until I lived there and found them to be totally ace.

The swiss however......

What I love the best is being out in the middle of nowhere and hearing nothing but the stillness. Letting the sounds of the forest surround me...just the rustling of the leaves when the wind blows and the birds singing in the trees and watching the squirrels scamper up the trees and seeing the way the sunlight flickers down through the tree canopy...

This film pretty much encompasses everything I love about America.

One thing I point out to mates a lot is how ace America was in the 80s compared to grim England.
USA is 80s = Ferris Bueller, Back To The Future, Goonies
Britain in the 80s = Grange Hill..................
