Italians tend to just give it to the person with the most appearances. Carlo has dropped Sigurdsson a lot of times when he’s had better options available. He’s arguably not in his first choice 11 when everyone is fully fit. We’re rumoured to be looking at Isco who plays in his position and he was nearly sold to a team in Saudi Arabia in the window. The armband doesn’t mean jack.
