With Richarlison & James missing today I’m unsure where the goals come from. No service for DCL, zero goal threat from Midfield and Iwobi doesn’t look like a footballer. I think Newcastle will fancy themselves today.

...I think Newcastle might be a bit stronger than last season.

The concern is we’ve been porous at the back, despite having greater protection in central midfield. Added to that, we’ll certainly lose creativity and goal threat with Richarlison and Rodriguez out.

Stating the obvious, but via selection and tactics, Ancelotti needs to find a way of getting us something out of this match.
