He added something to the midfield imo, but will Carlo go for him as lb or give young Niels a go?
Hmm, tough one. If it’s Gordon playing Richarlison’s role then Niels at left back makes it an incredibly inexperienced flank.

If Allardyce or Moyes were manager i’d bet my house that Delph would be left back. Carlo bit more difficult to tell what he’ll do.

Personally don’t want to see Delph at left back unless it’s an emergency so would go with Niels.

Throw in Kenny on the other side and Newcastle will be mad not to try target our fullbacks. One things for sure, regardless of who plays both full backs are going to need a hell of a lot more protection than they got yesterday.

If there's one thing I do like about him it's the, dunno, 'crispness' of some of his passing?

Some players will turn on the ball and play a pea-roller out to the wings, slowing the passage of play down. His passes at least are hit with enough conviction to keep the ball moving at a quicker pace.

Any chance of him passing the ball forward today - how did he ever play for guardiola

Nobody has passed forward successfully. In his defence, he has absolutely nobody making any movement ahead of him bar DCL. I'd sooner see Gomes and Sigurdsson taken off than him.
