That isn't the point. I'm saying that we watched him struggle in the PL last year. I don't get why him, Aarons and Lewis were all hot properties considering.

I thought he came highly rated......enough for Carlo to sanction a transfer. Who are we to argue. Agree he was poor today...very poor but considering it is not a familiar position for him we have to give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he fairs at CB when his chance arrives.

no point in judging him on today, he was left isolated with no support from James (a price worth paying) the system has to account for this and let one of Allen / Dacoure slide over a bit to support him.

If our right side becomes the target area over the next few games then I can see a change of tact and putting James more central

I heard he was one of the better players last season with Norwich. Does seem strange for us to buy a player that was crap last season so for that reason alone I don't believe you.

Well Doucoure falls into that category too so...

Thought he was 'ok' for a centre back playing right back...positionally poor but otherwise james did trackback a couple of times but mostly left Godfrey to deal with everything himself.

Definitely would start Davies or Kenny next week but you can't blame him at all.
