ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Glad to see their whole squad is obsessed with it. That’s been us on the end of similar stuff from them for years. Reckless tackles from Gerrard, ridiculous refereeing decisions, bad luck. They’ve had one game of it and want to have a few days of mourning about it. We’re right up in their faces now and we need to stay there all season.

It's really annoying nobody has come out and basically told these lot to shut up. Hell, our biggest defense has come from Carragher ffs

We’ve just let them boil their own heads whilst Carlo is working with the lads on the training ground already focusing on the next game. Only one club is looking completely stupid from this whole affair, we don’t need to get in the gutter with them. They’re burying themselves.

I'll be honest, their reactions and Klopps sound very negative for them. Talking of the whole squad crying themselves to sleep. It hardly sounds like a squad full of self belief to me. It's actually quite UnLiverpool like, where you would usually expect them to talk about "now we will win it for Virgil" or some other guff.

It's also quite pathetic but strangely enjoyable to here them whining about our tackles. We got to them. Forget the injuries or the red card, the approach we had of pressuring them knocked them off their stride.

Since you asked so nicely

We should have an annual GOT awards ceremony for this kind of thing.

As if we needed further proof, this whole episode has confirmed them as the biggest bunch of weirdos on the planet. Qanon make more sense than these dements
Bizarre aren't they. And they just don't see it, just when you think calling them a cult is a bit of a joke, they go an remind you they truly are.

I'm not surprised that their fans can't think independently. If an Everton manager wore a t-shirt for an Everton player who'd admitted he'd used the very words Evra was accusing him of and he'd construed as racist, I'd accept that a punishment was coming and be embarrassed by the club for trying to defend in such a forthright way. Equally, over these tackles, I'd have expected comment on the day from Ancelotti but then move on. If he carried on like Klopp has, I'd think he was daft.
