All those applauding him for injuring VVD need to wind their neck in. That was a seriously bad tackle and if that had happened to one of our players we would be wanting blood. Hiding behind an offside flag does not make it alright

He deserved it.

Tit was throwing his weight around, clattering into everybody thinking he was a bad man, bad man got his knee in a brace, ain't no bad man no more.

I'd have slightly more sympathy for him if he wasn't running around the place "laying down a marker" on everyone. Pickford had every right to go for that ball, VVD was just unfortunate in this case that the goalkeeper happened to be one of the clumsiest men in the Premier League

Innit, no malice from Pickford for me, he just had 1 of his HEY YOU GUYS moments.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the guy. Behind his faux bravado there seems to be so much going on in his head at the same time he is fighting a battle before he enters the pitch. Capable of brilliance / mediocrity dependant on surrounding events. Sad thing is, whilst there is pressure, I can't see this ever changing.. I like the guy, but can't see a future for him at Everton. He is not mentally weak, I believe there is no such thing, but lacking the mentality of an elite athlete. Would love him to prove me wrong.
