He had effort, he is just slow and the pace of the prem is too much for him. He looks lost to pass and move. There was a point Baines was screaming at him to move and ask for the ball...he then moved.

His concentration goes, he doesnt have the pace or space to do anything.

He's talented, but some players cant hack it in the prem. He's one of them and a poor buy in hindsight from Moyes.

he can he played behind the striker for moscow and he plays there for russia i think he would be a better player in tha position, which would be obvious anyway

Pienaar had the same problem. He tracked runners for the most part...the only times Valencia got down the left was when he was one on one with Baines...and Valencia won every one of them. You could've said the same about Coleman who let Nani rip Hibbo a new one.

Bilya did cover...its just that Fabio and Valencia were too quick for him. He's the slowest player we have at the club so players just sprint straight past him.

Not defending him but his work rate was fine, he's just effin slow.

Nothing.

It wasn't a good game for him, sure, but I swear people on this forum have bi polar, opinion shifts that much.

The tempo is slower at international level. Its why the England team can never keep the ball and build attacks well because its a slow tempo to the prem.

Bilya isnt used to it and never will be for all his talent.

His work rate was poor,fabio had a free pass coming foreward at least we agree he is slow and not a premiership player.

I think everyone should forget about today... Billy played terrible, but when Ossie went out wide, he was **** too, and Ossie is on great form. I think Valencia and Nani were just too good for us today.

It's bread and butter football. You should know how to do this even before you turn professional.

I agree, for one Big Vic was making good runs, and Cahill was passing straight into the defenders.

For start Cahill did not cost 9 million. He cost a pittance, and has repaid that probably 20 times over. Thats why he does not get the same treatment as Bily does.

That performance from Bily today reminded me of Nyarko, did not care one bit. No effort and didnt care that he kept giving the ball away.
One of the worst displays i can remember in an Everton shirt that, and rightly hauled off at half time.
