Romero is ideal if we can get him cheap or on loan. He does not have the same 'out of this world' capability that Pickford has but he is older, calmer, experienced, stable and pretty consistent. He'd also fit in well with our South American contingent and give us a foothold in another huge football market in the region. We likely need to be able to shift Lossl to do it but he probably has a market as an above average championship keeper/lower level PL guy so...fingers crossed this goes somewhere.

Hope this comes off. Decent keeper. Pickford really does need dropping and give him the chance to have a serious think about what he is doing.

Romero would be a very shrewd bit of business. However, I find it funny how he's got the same agent as Pickford. Can you imagine what the conversation has been from the agency to both players? Haha

Any time I’ve seen him he’s been okay, made some good saves. Haven’t seen him much mind you.
