Sometimes you just have to play yourself out of a rut and thankfully we are loaded with games (hopefully cup games as well) to give him minutes. Methinks that goal will perk him up. And I can’t stress enough how chuffed I was to see the lads let him have that penalty. Doesn’t matter how it goes in. It obviously meant a lot to him.

Yeah definitely. I was expecting Sigurdsson to take it to be honest. Glad he didnt tho because a pen against Salford in the cup does nothing for him whereas fingers crossed it can give Moise a boost

Pickford

Doucoure Allan Gomes
James Richarlison

Joao, Kenny, Davies, Sigurdsson, Gordon, Walcott, Kean
Bernard cant make it to match day squads anymore? how far has he fallen...

More nervous for this game then spurs last week as we are expected to win these but hopefully the performance follows from last week and we don't get complacent. Let's send these bunch of boiler bumming brummys back to the shadow realm please.

We can't be hoping to achieve something decent in the league and not win here.

You can't discount any side but we really should be winning this.

Looking forward to seeing our new midfield in action again, building up more of an understanding as a team.

Another interesting thing when he spoke about Kean was that he said:

'We're counting on him for the season because we only have him and Dominic as central striker'

Interesting that there was no mention at all of Tosun. I know he's still injured like, any news on when he'll be back fit? Hopefully not mentioned because we've sorted a move out for him

wishful thinking. He said exactly the same thing about Mina and Keane because the other two CBs are injured.
We’re not gonna sell an injured player, no matter how much we want him to leave. We’re stuck with Tosun. I am convincing myself it’s fate cuz he is gonna get a derby winner.

Agree. Thought he played very poorly myself. Got to hope if we get him playing with James Allan Doucoure instead of Davies Siggy and Walcott he can do a bit better. But not sure how even playing with better players will improve his first touch etc.
You can’t blame Davies siggy and Walcott for the lad not being able to trap a ball or find another blue shirt. Am hoping it’s a confidence and he is really a lot better but the lad looks really poor. If DCL performed like that he would be destroyed on here

His first touch was worse than the wall I used to kick the ball against as a kid.

Really looking forward to the game.Exciting isn't it. Against Spurs we were knocking the ball around, proper passing with players comfortable in possession. Expect a good win.....A post on twitter showed 15% off our training gear and for the first time in years with my birthday on the horizon I will get get a couple of tops. Come on Everton !
