I'm not crying about it. My overall feeling about these potential transfers is one of polite interest until they're signed. Because I'm an Evertonian and know this club is totally, completely inept.

The onus is on them to change my mind on that, but until then I'm not going to be angry, upset or surprised that we've screwed another one up, because I'd be just pleasantly surprised if we didn't.

I think we'll get two of the three done personally, which would be a pleasant surprise. But for Everton not to screw something up here would be breaking the habit of a lifetime.

Why are you bothering getting all worked up about it then?

Nobody has any idea if it’s true, and even if it is, it’s more likely to be something to do with covid protocols. It’s not like he’s locked himself in the bog so that he doesn’t have to go sign the contract

It does happen at other clubs. Lots of them. But you/we dont realise it as much because we're not involved or showing any interest in their signings.
