Lukaku was still young and mostly unproven. Eto'o if you saw him at Chelsea wasn't the same as before he went to Russia. James is probably still in his prime. This is crazy. I've tried not to get too excited but it is happening and I'm through the roof.
I’m hopeful that he will exceed my expectations. I haven’t followed his career particularly but his injury record (playing about 20-25 games per season) doesn’t inspire me. I hope he does well rather than being an aging player whose stats decline the second they join us (Sigurdsson, Eto’o, etc.)
