Has the opinion that this has been in the works since Carlo signed up been floated yet. It makes some sense, which is unusual for me but it's not totally ridiculous. Is it?

On about 200k a week atm. Doubt we'll be paying him anything close to that so will probably want the difference in the final year of his contract from Real as a pay off. Probably accounts for the inflated price. They're asking for 25m with 1 year left on his deal?
"Can you make sure you get everything done for the James Rodriguez signing before you knock off for the holiday?"
"Ohhhhh! Its four o clock already! I've got a BBQ!"
"Fair enough. Im sure no club in literally every other country in Europe where they dont do August Bank Holiday will be interested! Enjoy the weekend!"
Not sure that's how it works...
Reckon he's forgot about him for years. Was just looking at some old photos during lockdown to remember the good times. Sentimental old foolI would imagine he's been on Carlos mind for a while.
He loves him.
Ancelloti was on the downward slope. None of the giant clubs wanted him anymore. We gave him a gold crusted retirement package. I hope he's not just relying on old acquaintances from a few seasons back to help us back into the big time!
Bingo. Has he signed him 3 times before? We obviously had to make promises to get CA and this is one.I would imagine he's been on Carlos mind for a while.
He loves him.
Brands knows this is a huge risk & that's why talks are still ongoing.
If we get him on lower wages, then (screw it, I'm just gonna say it) WHEN he flops we may be able to shift him on nicely.

I didn’t see the holy trinity, but I did see Sharp. Yes he did more, but Kanchelskis was just electric. With him and Limpar in the there was excitement. We won the Derby too.
I loved Sharp, he was a superb number nine, one of my favourite players. He’d be drummed out of here now though for not tracking back / pressing etc.
This is the 3rd time he’s managed him.Bingo. Has he signed him 3 times before? We obviously had to make promises to get CA and this is one.
