Would be made up with Romero. Get Pickford out the door for 15m. Who could take him? Newcastle don't need him, West Ham are sorted, none of the top teams will look at him and I can't see him going abroad. We won't have him sat on the bench.

Romero would be usefull for us, he has always been very reliable in goal, when he strarted his carrer here in Racing you could already see the quality, he went with 19yo to Holland, then Sampdoria, Monaco and ManUtd, and was also Argentina no1 for about a decade, he is the best argentinian goalkeeper in the last 20 years easily

If you compare his stats with world class keepers they look very similar...

Romero is a below average keeper with a massive boob in his locker like Pickford. If think coz people are that desperate to get rid of Pickford they're willing to take on anyone. Romero is no for me.

Just couldn't see Romero coming without a guarantee of being number one. That can't happen unless we sell JP who nobody will buy.

Give him that guarantee. Pickford needs competition to drive him to be better, said this before he isn't a bad keeper. However he is prone to game changing errors. There is a player in there somewhere.
