If Sancho is valued at 100m then Brazilian international and proven Premier League striker Richarlison must be north of that. Could do worse than selling him to fund a full squad rebuild, in all honesty.

Not that I want him gone, because I do not, but if money is tight it's a great option if there is interest.

Perhaps Barca might be calling once they've offloaded a load of their players.

Richarlison, Delph, Mina, Pickford, Bernard, Sigurdsson and Iwobi out for combined 200m, loan out Bolasie, Tosun, Sandro and sign two strikers, two central midfielders, a centre back, a right back, two wingers and a new goalkeeper, couple of those could even be on loan.

Total spend 250m, so 50m net.

Let the revolution begin.

Or just don't sell Richi and try to rebuild another way.
No Sancho and Richarlison aren't worth the same amount and no that doesn't mean Richarlison is worth more either. Get it together.

Of course Richarlison is worth more than Sancho.

Its foolish to suggest otherwise.
20 years old and back to back season of double digit goals and assists. He had 17 and 17 in the league this year. Take off the Everton goggles and come back to reality. Richarlison is definitely someone we should expect a lot of money for, 80m would be my minimum, but Sancho will go for 9 digits

He plays in Germany for Dortmund.

Richarlison plays in England for Everton.

See the difference? Richarlison up top for Dortmund would hit 30+ goals...out wide 20+.

Theres absolutely no way hes worth more money. Theres no comparison.

Whether United offer £100mil for him is their business...young English player to fit their new model.

Dembele went to Barca for €135mil...was he worth it? Nope.

Richarlison is worth more than either Dembele or Sancho.

If Barca/Real had money this summer and we asked £150mil they would both come very close to that.

I love Richarlison but no.

And also no.

Dembele had 6 goals and 13 assists at age 19 before Barcelona bought him. Richarlison had similar figures this year at age 23. 80-90m and be very happy with it while also a bit disappointed because Richarlison is a top lad and player.

He has one more season with us then he’s off.
Either because we are still crap and he’s had enough of playing togger with the likes of Davies/Gylfi or we’ve improved and his game goes to the next level therefore sparking genuine interest from the Spanish big boys.

would you be happy if he left for 80m? its not my money but id feel like i got punched in gut

No I'd be leaning toward the disappointed part. It's essentially like what happened with Rom. On one hand the money is enough that we should be able to rebuild in a strong way, but it is still losing your best player so it hurts.

But that doesn't mean Barcelona are preparing to pay 150m.

He simply isn't world class. Nowhere near the likes of Sterling, Mane etc.
If regularly getting selected and appearing for Brazil , easily the worlds greatest footballing nation, isn’t enough to be considered world class .........well, words fail me.

It isn't though right? I mean Fred was leading the line for Brazil at the World Cup. Are you going to argue he was world class?

I get that Brazil are going to have a lot of high level players in their national team but it doesn't mean every single one is truly the cream of the crop world wide.

And for Richarlison if we are calling him a winger he isn't even close to world class. I think that's a silly argument to even try to make. As a striker you could maybe offer up a case but I still think he falls well short of even the PL top class, much less the whole world.

To be fair it’s an amorphous phrase anyway, entirely subjective.
Regardless , however much we receive for him, we would find it difficult to replace him.
A whole generation of footballers are approaching retirement age for whom Everton are nothing but an unattractive mid table club , who have achieved nothing of note in their lifetimes.
We are faced with buying young players with potential and hoping we can build a successful team before they are enticed away to top clubs, it’s slim margins.
Richarlison is the most exciting player we’ve had for years ,the kind of player who you genuinely look forward to seeing on match day. He has his flaws ,of which I have been as critical as anyone but he has developed and is still developing into a top player.
I hope we can keep him for another season but his future departure just confirms the futility of hoping for anything but fleeting moments of pleasure when supporting Everton in the current era.

If Sancho played for Schalke hed struggle to get 10 goals OR 10 assists.

If he played for Everton...the same.

You take Richarlison and put him up top in that Dortmund side and he slots 30+ goals.

Its not even a discussion...its obvious he'd hit double what he does for us. For starters hed be playing a lot more games against far worse teams.

I think youre missing the point that Dortmund play in Germany + Europe and are one of the best sides in both competitions while Everton are playing in a far superior league sat in 12th.

If we sold Richarlison for south of £130mil then id want a few people fired.
