Keane is ok as a rotation option he is good in a low block against big teams. We do need another left sided cb with pace though... If we bring that person in and we get a good bid for Keane around 20m maybe it is worth selling, he has two years left on his contract. If not keep.
 
The club needs a captain. Centre back or centre mid. No point in signing the usual on/offs. Leadership on the pitch week in and out should be the priority.

I agree, its what Howard Kendal did in the 80's. Brought in Reid and Gray. Along with Southall, Ratcliffe we had leaders right up the spine of the team. I think Carlo will bring in someone at the back and midfield like that.
 


If this is true and they are looking to sign someone on the right, Brooks would fit the bill.

I think Gordon on the left and Brooks on the right would be fantastic.. now and for the future.
I'm not sold that he's back from that injury at the same level yet. Personally I'd be very careful with the amount of money offered for him.
