I think we need to be really careful when buying from larger clubs. Think about it, some of these players reached the pinnacle at some of these clubs, having them come to Everton might make them lose motivation. Feel like we'd be better served by going for players who see us as a step up, at least they would have soemthing to play for.

He said he spoke to Moyes about going to Everton, they were really positive talks! They spoke about how he would fit in to the team, were he would play etc. It got Bellamy excited, off that he decided Everton was were he wanted to go!
The next meeting with Moyes was apparently very different. Moyes showed up with a dossier of rules and conduct instructions etc. Moyes was alot colder apparently on this meeting, so much that Bellamy didn't like the approach and chose to go to Blackburn.

Wonder if that was all abit of a tactic to see how Bellamy would react to both situations, the positive & the negative to see how much he wanted it.
May of meant a certain few players may of skipped of grasp, but it did bring in a lot of the right attitude players too

Kenwright probably told moyes he couldn't afford him, but try and make it look like it was bellamy's fault the move failed.
