johnny will be gone after questioning the gaffer. one thing you dont do is QUESTION MOYLES. `why cant we shoot boss`, - `jeezus h. christ we had a shot last season, thats it yoor oot tha team sonny`

Telling Moyes that he "refuses" to play at Right Back is the final straw for me (as if I needed convincing any further).

He's a gobsh!te, plain and simple, well on his way to becoming a fan favourite before the World Cup turned him into mr. Holier Than Thou.

As much as the club needs investment and a re-energising of the squad, I will be thoroughly ashamed if we begin to field these type of players week in week out. I know many would like to see Carlos Tevez & Eden Hazard kiss the F.A Cup in an Everton shirt (before mouthing off in the press how they're not on enough money), but I wouldn't.

Moyes needs to steer clear of these characters in the future.

"I belong to the 22 best players in the world and I belong to the four best central defenders in the world. Ok, I won’t exaggerate now! But make it ten best central defenders in the world. That should be enough confirmation."

And for that reason...I'm out

He'd be about fourth choice right back behind Neville, Hibbert and Coleman anyway. The only reason Moyes would ask him to play there would be to give him game time to stop him moaning.

You're right. We need players like this about as much as we need an Icelandic/Russian/Sheik owner. I'd rather struggle on with people who care about the club and who are trying to do the right thing than to become a stepping stone or plaything for someone who's only in it for themselves.

He's very ill disciplined.

It shows in his game when he's come on giving the ball away and doing some silly things when we're leading.

I don't doubt that's why he's not played more plain and simple.

I agree with him entirely. Well, not entirely, but almost.
He's a tremendous player and centre back and I've been screaming for him and Jags to get a run together since the summer but our thick headed twunt of a manager would much rather play that cart horse Distin every week because he's tall and left footed.
I know a lot of people will say he's had a good season but not for me, I know what I see and he's a dodgy disaster of a player, as bad as Yobo for me. Countless games I've seen us concede goals that are down to Distin being ****.

That said though, Heitinga can't be coming out in the press like this all the time going on about how he's a superstar, he's at the wrong club to do that and frankly under the wrong manager. I worry his days are numbered now and he'll be replaced by some lump from the Championship, ala David Moyes transfer tactic.

Name them then mate, I can only think of one and that was the United match, I can remember him making mistakes, but he certainly made less than Heitinga has when he's played.

since the World Cup final Heitinga has been utter ****e nearly every time he has played. I was a huge fan of his, and the cup " penalty incident" only made me like him more; but if this ****e is really what he has said (I dont trust the press as far as I can throw them) then dump he to the reserves for the rest of the season and then get rid.

Johnny's not playing because he hasn't shown that he'll be any better than Jags or Distin. Heitinga's a headcase on the pitch. Bunch of mouthing off. When he's out there the other squad is always going to get calls against him in their favor. Send him packing in the summer...

I think he would be a good buy for someone. His price will not be off the charts, he is talented, and should be super motivated for his next club. His outburst can be easily explained as "he is super competitive who just wants to be on the pitch, we like that in our players, yada yada". I think anyone who knows their football (and I presume the managers at top clubs do) has a lot of respect for Jags, and sees that Distin has been on great form all season. Heit is just the odd man out, and his form has suffered due to lack of playing time.
