Dont you worry summer child, Carlo hasn't taken a job to play Tom Davies in midfield.

This window will tell alot. I can see us spending a bit on 3ish players. But selling and moving on players will be our problem. We will make a big loss on some and others who are on big bucks will happily sit on the bench. If the club allowed us to sit on their walls and boo them when they go shopping to marks n sparks it would surely move things along.

Well we’ve shifted Schneiderlin. So let’s see what happens.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re still paying his some of his wages.

Not sure what he was on or what Nice paid etc.
His quotes after the move suggested he/his agent sorted the move and things moved pretty quickly from there.

He wasn't as terrible a footballer as many made out, but it's clear his heart was back home.

He'd lost his father, so was probably concerned about his mum. His wife was pregnant with the second child, and the first is around nursery age. Living anywhere within about about a 35 mile radius of Nice beats absolutely anywhere in Cheshire, etc etc.

Back to the original point, I expect he gave up most, if not all of his remaining contract. (even if we still contribute it's a good saving, and I imagine we'll be doing similar with a quite few of the squad)
