ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Amusing but being the pessimist that i am it makes me think they might be more likely to sell up to new owners who can do a city.

There aren't many of those owners about, and in all honesty the price they would want would put a lot of people off. They also need Liverpool in their portfolio to help their other assets.
It's a fascinating headline from Pearce, who's normally Mr positivity. Clearly they feel very spooked by this UEFA and feel City are going to go massively heavily in the next window or two.

I do find it really odd though, as their model is about selling players for a big fee, and then being smarter in investment. Again signs that there may be deeper problems than is widely speculated or they can't win against that.

Whats far more likely, is like Glazier at United, or Kroenke at Arsenal they just sit back, give up trying to win things and bleed the asset. It would be hilarious to see. It's all very unusual anyway.
