Christ, I know you lot haven’t had the best of seasons but I didn’t realise there was so much antipathy to so many of your players.

Wolves in the Championship for god knows how long are one of the few examples of a club that had money thrown at it and failed dismallly. Jack Hayward ruined his family relations trying to get us promoted, even threatening legal action against his son for unauthorised bonuses. Club bought random players and loads of managers.

You seem to be doing the same, but on a much bigger scale in the premier league. Having wealthy owners hasn’t helped you, you’ve been scalped by Ajax/Arsenal/Watford/Swansea for bang average players at ridiculous prices.

We messed around with managers until we brought in Nuno with his complete back room staff and let them get on with it and we have now got a structured style of play running throughout the club - doesn’t always work but we’ve got brilliant spirit and quality young players who are being developed.

Last 2 games we’ve been poor, and front 3 look jaded, so expecting a score draw here. Anything else a bonus. 6th place at best, but Europa league to come.

Media love in just now.
Not a criticism btw.
Yous need to get in the champions league for the sustainability and big bucks.
The vultures are probably circling just now.

Oh,finish the stadium, this time, remember last time you started .

I understand the calls for Baningime but the lad couldn't get a game for Wigan and successive managers haven't brought him in so I think we need to accept there must be a reason for this and drop that one.
I'm going for that old Baines in midfield idea with this wacky set up

Pickford
Coleman Keane Mina Digne
Davies Holgate Baines Gordon
DCL Richarlison

Villa still the big boys in our parts according to the media. Champions league too much of a stretch. Happy as long as we keep Nuno.

Started the new stadium in 1978 and it nearly killed the club and we were crap for 20 years. Steve “I’m not a Liverpool fan any more” Morgan did the only thing he knows and demolished a good stand to build a carbuncle with a wine bar in it. We’re shoving another 1000 temporary seats in the South Bank corner and shelving any more development for the time being.

Hope your new stadium doesn’t impact on your team building requirements - I know it’s old, but Goodison is a great stadium.

The stand you knocked down looked ok tbh.
Yous should've just filled in the corners probably, not like those open temporary seats you have.

Pickford
Coleman - Mina - Holgate
Sidibe - Gomes - Slugurðsson - Gordon - Digne
Kean - Richarlison

We've got 4 more "friendlies" to go starting tomorrow, with nothing realistically to pay for - whatever system the Don chooses, he should try some alternatives from the squad to the absolute dross we have had all season from the usual suspects - might wake a few of them up for next season, and I don't care that some of them couldn't get games on loan or whatever, it's time to bin some of the high paid "experienced" Muppets.

Virginia
Coleman branthwaite mina digne
Richy beningame baines flash
DCL Kean

Don't even put siggy or Pickford on the bench.

Will be quite similar to the Spurs game I think. I can't see us winning. Timing of this is terrible, with us looking wrecked and them off the back of defeats.

It's sobering to think we look at Wolves as a club to be aspired to now in some ways, no disrespect to them. But there it is.

Pickford
Holgate - Mina - Keane
Coleman Digne
Richarlison- Davies - Baines - Gordon

I like the idea of Baines in the middle but unless they have played this in training I doubt they’ll do it for this game. Very quick turnaround since the last game.
