ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

When is this gobshite apologist getting the [Poor language removed] sack?!

"Women and children were present so a heavy handed police intervention was not appropriate at the time."

Ok genius, how about a more light handed police approach, or any police intervention?!? Some kids were being taught how to aim fireworks at the building (just seen the pics!) - wasnt that an appropriate time to intervene in this madness!

No, just let them keep taking continual aim and shots from multiple directions with fireworks at a city building, whilst endangering the very lives of the women and children who were there - superb police work there mate.

This inept fucktard should be relieved of his duties immediately.

They won't accept it. They genuinely won't accept it.

The quick defence seems to be it's not all Liverpool fans like it's a defence.

Seen many mentions earlier that the lad with the firework is a blue.

It shames the city...not my people in this city, not my club in this city. Speak for yourself, Plod.

I think we can all agree, it is good to see Liverpool Football Club back on their perch. I mean, they have had to watch on as another of the North Wests traditional clubs stole their limelight, but fair play they knuckled down annd theyre back where they belong.

Obviously, outdoing Burnleys racist flyby was a big challenge, but 48 hrs later and a spot of arson, knife crime, attack on police vehicle, public indecency with some other misdemeanours thrown in and its business as usual for der mighty redman. Well done

Perhaps if the police had done what they should have done at the attack on the City coach, and made arrests the evening of them winning the CL last year given all the indecent behaviour that night, along with criminal damage to cars, buses etc, then the scenes last night would not have been so bad. Looks like the top Police guys just never learn.

Condemned forever with that.

They set themselves up as a serious organisation that tackles football issues for their fans.

They demonstrate there that they haven't got the bollocks to call out the rioters in their own fan base.

If you were a decent red you'd be very angry at that failure to address the issue.

Just another BS organisation sucking in cash and wasting people's time.

What's interesting is 90% of their twitter fans are slaughtering them in the comments. The twitter lot are like a cult too. Theyve massively missed the mark.

This will be viewed as the Suarez moment for them. Not a single word "sorry" yet talking about organising a parade. A really stupid time to be mentioning that really.

The police will only attack you if you're black and having a private house party. Arson, criminal damage, stabbing people, breaking lockdown etc are all given a free pass by them. As they said "theres nothing we can do".
