ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-merseyside-53191406

Announcing that the city's civic buildings would be lit red for a week to celebrate the club's achievement, a council spokesman urged "ecstatic fans to try and maintain social distancing guidance to prevent the spread of coronavirus".

For a second, I thought of blood and that it was to commemorate the dead, and anyone who may yet sadly fall ill and die because of their "celebration"

Football must trump such other, trivial matters, of course.

Shankly's words take on an entirely different and eerie meaning in this context.

Have they got any plans to remember those who've died, full stop during this pandemic? Or recognise the sacrifice made by slaves in the development or wealth in the city? Or do lives, or racism not get remembered? I means the victims of slavery have only been waiting about 300 years.

Can't help making clowns out of themselves whenever they are in the spotlight can they.

05 Istanbul - The ol' paving slab
07 Athens - Charging turnstiles and stewards
16 Basel - Fanta scruff getting banged out
18 Madrid - Fountain pusher & Public masturbator
19 Anfield - Fountain pusher pulling a stewards pants down
20 Anfield - Mass gathering of plebs and Lamppost tosser

Special shout out to the Fountain pusher though. Old enough to be my dad but thinks he's a proper "lad". Utter fool.

Seeing dedications to the 96 for winning the league now. This one's for you as it says.

So......have they literally forgot about 1990?
